View the comprehensive information about the competitive benefits package on our careers page then scroll down to CENTERS Benefits (click link to view).\nResponsibilities\nEssential Responsibilities\nUnderstand and support the mission and values of ChargerREC\nAssist in the overall success and development of ChargerREC programs and facility operations of the Beckerman Recreation Center\nUnderstand, articulate, enforce, and comply with ChargerREC policies and procedures\nServe as front line customer service representatives to members, guests, and visitors\nProvide a welcoming and inclusive environment to members, guests, participants, and fellow staff\nEffectively communicate to members, guests, participants, and fellow staff\nArrive on time and prepared to all assigned shifts\nEnsure staff coverage for any assigned shifts which the employee cannot work\nActively participate in meetings/trainings\nComplete required reports and checklists\nAssist with setup/breakdown for ChargerREC programs/operations and external events\nServe as responder and/or support staff for emergencies as required by position and training\nOther duties as required\nPosition Specific Responsibilities\nOversee the on-site operations of the Beckerman Recreation Center\nSupervise and lead on-site staff members\nUtilize critical thinking to resolve issues and support fellow staff\nCommunicate with professional staff during non-business hours as needed\nAssist in membership and administrative operations and projects as assigned\nEffectively process memberships, sales, equipment rentals, and other customer service related transactions\nComplete general and assigned cleaning duties including compliance with PPE standards\nAssist in daily opening/closing of the facility\nComplete administrative tasks and projects as required\nQualifications\nEssential Qualifications & Skills\nDependability to arrive on time and be prepared for assigned shifts\nAbility to work flexible hours\nAbility to provide exceptional customer service\nWillingness and ability to enforce policies\nAbility to complete several tasks at once with frequent interruption\nAbility to demonstrate critical thinking and resilience when needed\nAbility to demonstrate leadership when needed\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nAbility to work in a diverse and inclusive environment\nAbility to provide a positive attitude and demonstrate a willingness to accept and improve upon constructive feedback from supervisors and professional staff\nPosition Specific Qualifications & Skills\nPrior experience working with ChargerREC as a Graduate Assistant \n\nAbility to operate computer and membership software\nCPR/AED/First aid certification preferred.
