View the comprehensive information about the competitive benefits package on our careers page then scroll down to CENTERS Benefits (click link to view).\nResponsibilities\nSafely instruct client through an effective personal training session at the Recreation Center\nProvide quality customer service to all clients and potential clients, regardless of fitness level, appearance, or otherwise\nEnsure client safety throughout the strength and cardiovascular areas\nCommunicate effectively with the supervisor through phone, email, or in person\nEnforce all program policies and procedures as it pertains to the personal training program\nEnforce all building policies and procedures and assist as needed during emergencies\nAttend all Personal Training and all-department staff meetings\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum Requirements:\nPossess current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications\nPossess current certification in one of the following, examples include, but not limited to: ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA; additional NCCA-accredited certifications are often acceptable and will be reviewed for consideration\nLeadership and supervisory abilities\nEntrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm\nExcellent organizational, and written and interpersonal communication skills\nAbility to work independently\nKnowledge of standard practices in recreational sports\nAbility to thrive in an environment that values high expectations, accountability, and balanced lifestyles\nCompetencies:\nTechnical Competencies\nProficiency with Fitness Assessment Equipment, including but not limited to: Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, Body Fat measurement with calipers, Waist to Hip Ratio, Cardiovascular Testing, Muscular Strength and Endurance Testing, and Flexibility Testing.\nProficient with Exercise Prescription and developing progressive workouts for clients.\nHuman Relations\nInternal contacts include staff at all levels. External contacts include external customers and vendors.
