Come talk to us about joining the Centerstone team!\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\nJob Summary:\nThe Clinical Provider Supervisor supervises assigned Clinical Providers and provides therapy to clients as needed.\nEssential Job Functions:\nProvide supervision to assigned Clinical Providers and hold regularly scheduled individual supervisory sessions and team meetings with supervisees.\nAssist supervisees with the effective management of their time and caseloads in accordance with applicable Tennessee requirements and departmental needs.\nProvide individual, group, family, and/or other appropriate counseling services utilizing professional experience and clinical expertise to meet client needs and treatment goals. The size of the caseload will be determined by supervisory staff.\nWithin the limits of experience, educational background, and organizational time commitments, present educational material in public forums to promote community understanding of mental health and enhance community responses to mental health concerns.\nParticipate in client staffing to identify problems and establish treatment goals and objectives in accordance with organizational guidelines, and assume management responsibilities for assigned cases.\nParticipate in emergency services to provide timely assistance in cases of emotional or behavioral health crisis.\nProvide and/or coordinate comprehensive follow-up services for all assigned clients.\nRegularly review and monitor written clinical documentation, providing corrective feedback and addressing performance concerns as needed to ensure compliance with documentation requirements.\nParticipate in hiring staff for the department.\nReport all critical incidents and staff responses to the supervising Assistant Director or Director of the department.\nReview travel vouchers and certify that mileage claimed is reasonable and related to authorized, medically necessary activities.\nPerform duties in accordance with organizational operational guidelines, applicable Tennessee laws and regulations, and the professional Code of Ethics.\nRespond to management needs, including data collection, program evaluation, and other departmental responsibilities.\nParticipate in all required meetings.\nRegularly participate in evaluations of self and assigned staff in accordance with organizational operational guidelines.\nRespond to Quality Assurance procedures, cooperate with utilization review procedures, and follow established procedures, rules, and regulations of the Clinical Records Department.\nParticipate in the quality assurance process, including preparing and presenting QA cases and conducting chart reviews.\nPerform other special functions as may be assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nLANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, employees, and community contacts, including presenting information to groups.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nREASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.\nOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nAbility to establish effective relationships through telephone and personal contacts. Ability to follow direction and accept supervision.\nExtensive knowledge of crisis intervention, communication skills, and family education methods.\nExtensive skills in observation and assessment.\nExtensive skills and knowledge in treatment planning and the ability to work with internal and external service providers, clients, and families.\nExperience and knowledge of systems for providing family therapy.\nExtensive skills in clinical supervision and expertise in training other professionals in clinical skills.\nExperience and Education Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).\nMust possess a current, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the State of Tennessee.\nExperience in mental health or behavioral health services and clinical supervision preferred or required as determined by the position’s needs.\nSupervisory Requirements:\nProvide leadership and guidance to all aspects of the department.\nTake an active role in monitoring the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives.\nInvolve, as appropriate, all team members in achieving goals.\nEffectively communicate changes and important departmental or organizational updates to team members.\nHandle difficult team member situations directly, using appropriate discretion and consulting Human Resources as needed to ensure respectful and appropriate resolution.\nChampion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas.\nReinforce a team approach throughout departmental functions, support collaboration, and solicit input from team members at all levels within the organization.\nEmployment Requirements:\nSuccessful completion of required background checks, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint checks, as applicable.\nCompletion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.\nCompletion of all required training, including Relias, at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter, as applicable.\nCurrent driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance, as required for the position.\nMaintain an active Tennessee LCSW license and meet applicable licensure requirements.\nPhysical Requirements:\nADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (up to one-third of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (one-third to two-thirds of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.\nRepetitive movements of the hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during the work shift.\nSedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
