Come talk to us about joining the Centerstone team!\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\nSUMMARY OF POSITION\nKnowledge of utilization review process with the ability to review continued length of stay, assure appropriate allocation of facility resources by striving to provide quality client care in the most cost-effective manner. Monitor chart quality of representative sample of Crisis Stabilization Unit charts.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nReports to work as scheduled on a daily basis and performs assigned duties to ensure the smooth operation of the department. \nSupervises team of UR Specialist and Case Managers. \nAble to work within an Electronic Medical Record (recording UR interactions in charts).\nAble to work in a high paced atmosphere managing multiple cases at a time.\nPerforms utilization and financial case management duties.\nMaintains a clear description of methodology used in conducting utilization review/financial case management role.\nAssures proper information is relayed to third party provider in timely fashion.\nAssures continued need for stay is documented.\nMeets appropriate deadlines for certification and recertification.\nDocuments activities for later review.\nAssures appropriate consents are signed for information release and maintains confidentiality policies.\nMakes Clinical Director aware of client/payer issues.\nCommunicates effectively with treatment team including psychiatrist to ensure appropriate length of stay.\nTrains Case Managers\nFunction as team leader for other UR positions, giving guidance and training. \nCoordinate flow of information between UR, units, and fiscal staff.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nEffectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.\nOrganized, dependable, able to articulate needs of the client.\nExperience with MS software and other computer software.\nAbility to lead and be a team player.\nDisciplined, organized, good communication skills, and calm in a crisis.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation Level\nMaster's degree required.\nYears of Experience\nExperience working with families involved with child welfare.\nPreferred: Knowledge of local mental health, substance abuse, criminal justice, veteran and community resources preferred. Knowledge of addiction treatment (motivational interviewing), trauma- focused treatment, crisis intervention and dialectical behavioral therapy.\nCertification/Licensure\nMust be licensed (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) per Florida department of Professional Regulation as per chapter 490 or 491 F.S. Management experience.
