Come talk to us about joining the Centerstone team!\nJOB DESCRIPTION:\nPRN, Temporary Parenting That Works Support Specialist\nSUMMARY OF POSITION\nThe PRN, Temporary Parenting That Works Support Specialist provides supplemental support to the Parenting That Works program on an as-needed basis. This position assists with classroom activities, parent engagement, program events, and general program operations to help ensure continuity of services during staffing gaps or periods of increased program need.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nClassroom Support\nAssist with preparing classroom materials, lesson activities, and learning centers.\nHelp maintain children's educational materials, games, and activity resources.\nProvide classroom coverage and support as needed.\nHelp create a welcoming and engaging environment for children and families.\nParent and Family Engagement\nSupport parent participation during classroom activities and group sessions.\nAssist staff with parent education groups and family engagement events.\nEncourage positive interactions between parents and children during program activities.\nProgram Support\nAssist with program events, presentations, and special activities.\nSupport program tours as assigned.\nParticipate in team meetings and program-related training.\nComplete required documentation and reports in a timely manner.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\nAbility to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating with the program team.\nFlexibility to adapt to changing program needs and schedules.\nBasic organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation Level\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nYears of Experience\nExperience working with young children and families preferred.\nExperience in community-based programs, education, childcare, or family support services preferred.\nPosition Type: Temporary, PRN (as needed).\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nStanding: 50%\nSitting: 50%\nSquatting: Occasional\nKneeling: Occasional\nBending: Occasional\nDriving: Occasional\nLifting: Occasional\nDISCLAIMER\nThe duties and responsibilities described in this document are not intended to be a comprehensive list.
