You will report to a Manager, Clinic/Center Administration.This is an onsite role working in The Villages, Florida.\nRole Responsibilities:\nResponsible for ongoing supervision of clinical team members in the Care Center, ensuring all staff work according to the principles of patient-centeredness and mutual respect with colleagues and coworkers.\nMaintains clinical staff payroll, overtime, PTO schedules for clinical and medical staff, and staff work schedules.\nOversees clinical nursing care, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards, including quality assurance, confidentiality, and medical records requirements.\nProvides discipline for assigned staff in collaboration with the Human Resources Department and maintains documentation in staff records.\nProvides direct supervision to nurses and clinical staff, ensuring appropriate assessment and treatment of patient health.\nServes as a key problem-solving resource to staff on patient issues.\nStudies patient needs and trends and suggests solutions to ongoing patient care problems.\nEnsures the performance and productivity of all nursing staff are evaluated regularly throughout the year and annually.\nAdvises on appropriate corrective actions and development opportunities for supervised staff.\nFacilitates resolution of complaints, concerns, and problems of supervised employees regarding work assignments, hours of work, overtime scheduling, and other work-related matters.\nMaintains OSHA and MSDS compliance and updates manuals annually and as needed.\nActs as OSHA Compliance Officer within the assigned Care Center.\nMaintains biologic monitoring records and X-ray and DXA machine inspection records.\nMaintains AHCA records of chart reviews for Medical Director and coder sign-off for inspections.\nMaintains employee Hepatitis B and PPD records and updates PPD annually.\nOversees inventory counts by delegating team members to complete inventory in each specialty area.\nOrders medical supplies for all specialties.\nMaintains a high quality of care by nursing staff through continuous improvement of procedures, protocols, and standards.\nEnsures all staff are trained in quality assurance and control requirements and meet these standards.\nCollaborates with the Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Manager, and Care Center Leadership on the development and implementation of the nursing department's mission, goals, policies, procedures, budget, quality assurance plan, and work standards.\nCommunicates with team members in clinical and clerical areas to support a successful patient-centered practice.\nParticipates in capital budgeting and may be required to produce a cost-benefit analysis to justify requested equipment.\nMaintains therapeutic injectable medication ordering and projects needs to ensure consistent supply availability.\nParticipates in multi-specialty practice building and planning.\nUse your skills to make an impact\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive and unrestricted RN license OR an active and unrestricted LPN license in the state of Florida.\n3+ years of experience working in a specialty care center or related setting.\nCPR/BLS Healthcare Provider Certification within 90 days of employment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with Athena\nPrior experience in a Cardiology or Interventional Pain Management settings\n3+ years of supervisory experience\nTB Statement:\nThis role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
