The Manager will track data requests, coordinate work assignments, implement data quality assurance strategies, stand up Quality dashboards to ensure ongoing and consistent reporting, ensure documentation of data processes and maintain a Quality metrics portfolio, assist with the coordination of Central Health's Quality Committee meeting. In addition, the Manager will assume all HR functions and duties required in the management of direct reports.\nResponsibilities\nEssential Functions\nTrack data requests, coordinate work assignments, implement data quality assurance strategies, ensure documentation of data processes and maintain a Quality metrics portfolio.\nLead the initiation, planning and development of data collection processes and analyses for Central Health’s Quality and Performance Improvement initiatives.\nFunction as a data and evaluation subject matter expert for Quality initiatives\nFunction as a subject matter expert on survey design and sampling methodology\nHelps coordinate Central Health’s Quality Committee agenda and meeting run of show\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret program evaluation or data report requirement specifications.\nUtilize various scripting languages to manipulate datasets, extract data and create staging tables to prepare data foranalysis.\nPerform quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis and prepare results to share with internal and external customers.\nBuild fully or partially automated statistical models with the use of statistical applications and scripting languages.\nOversee the design and build of Quality reporting dashboards.\nManage data gathered and define database requirements if needed.\nIdentify and troubleshoot data anomalies and irregularities.\nBecome a data subject matter expert (SME) with Central Health data sets, understanding various sources andapplications.\nServe as a HIPAA compliance expert.\nAdheres to all local, state, and federal regulations\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of current epidemiological, bio-statistical and Healthcare Quality principles and practices.\nProficiency with statistical tools and software programs, e.g. SAS, R, Python.\nAbility to perform moderate to complex analyses and data queries using T-SQL.\nDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with varying deadlines.\nKnowledge of and compliance with data confidentiality and security procedures.\nPerform complex operations in Microsoft Excel 2016 and newer.\nAbility to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas as indicated by audience.\nExperience with mapping tools (ArcGIS, Tableau), familiarity with mapping with geocodes, census tracts and blockgroups.\nSkill in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\nProficiency with mapping tools (ArcGIS, Tableau), familiarity with mapping with geocodes, census tracts and block groups\nQualifications\nMinimum Education:\nMaster's degree from an accredited university or college in Public Health, with a concentration in epidemiology or biostatistics\nMinimum Experience:\n5 years experience with data management and statistical analysis \n2 years of regulatory metrics reporting \n3 years of experience identifying appropriate quality metrics for health care interventions \n2 years of experience managing a project Required And\n3 years of experience using statistical analysis software such as SAS, R, or Python \n3 years of experience using SQL for database queries \nRequired Licenses and Certifications:\nCPHQ -
