Prime Healthcare is actively seeking new members to join our corporate team!\nAre you an experienced Epic leader who has successfully driven full-cycle implementations across complex hospital environments?\nPrime Healthcare is seeking an experienced Epic Implementation Manager (Ambulatory) to lead enterprise-wide deployments across our national health system. You will drive end-to-end clinical application implementations, partner closely with clinical and executive leadership, and ensure successful adoption across complex care environments. This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise shapes how care is delivered across dozens of hospitals.\nWhat makes this role compelling:\nLead enterprise-wide clinical Epic implementations across 50+ hospitals\nInfluence provider workflows, patient care, and clinical outcomes\nOwn delivery across full lifecycle: design → build → go-live\nLead and mentor large high-performing analyst teams\nPartner directly with CMOs, Nursing Leadership, and Executives\nResponsibilities\nUnder the direction of the Epic Program Manager, the Epic Implementation Manager oversees Ambulatory applications, and is responsible for managing all aspects of future Epic implementations at Prime hospitals. The Implementation Manager will build relationships with hospital leadership to ensure corporate and local initiatives are incorporated into future implementations. After each go-live, the Implementation Manager will oversee a comprehensive handoff to the Production Support team, ensuring a successful transition of support for the hospital. The Implementation Manager will supervise performance of all analysts on their team, which is comprised of the applications in their domain Ambulatory.\nIn this role, you will serve as the driving force behind enterprise Ambulatory Epic implementations, leading hospitals through each phase of the journey; from early planning and workflow design to go-live and stabilization. As a leader, you’ll not only deliver successful implementations, but also mentor and develop your team while building strong, lasting partnerships across the organization.\nOn any given day, you’ll collaborate with clinical and executive leaders to align system design with real-world care delivery, guide your team through build and testing milestones, and proactively navigate challenges to keep implementations on track. You’ll be at the center of the action during go-live, ensuring teams are supported, workflows function as intended, and clinicians are set up for success.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nLead end-to-end Epic implementations\nOversee design, build, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization\nPartner with clinical stakeholders to align workflows and system design\nEnsure adoption of best-practice clinical workflows\nLead, coach, and manage clinical application analyst teams\nDrive milestone execution, risk mitigation, and delivery outcomes\nOversee post-go-live transition to support teams\nTravel Requirement: This is a remote role that requires frequent travel (up to 50-75% annually) to hospital sites across the U.S., notably during key implementation phases.\n#LI-BB1 #remote\nQualifications\nSix (6) or more years of applicable work experience required.\nMinimum five (5) years of experience working with electronic medical record required.\nExperience leading an Epic implementation required.\nBachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.\nMinimum four (4) years of experience with an integrated healthcare information system preferred.\nMinimum four (4) years of experience in project management preferred.\nKnowledge of healthcare industry and hospital operations preferred.\nExperience leading large teams.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nPay Transparency\nPrime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $90,875.20 to $158,662.40 on an annualized basis.
