For more information visit www.westanaheimmedctr.com.\nResponsibilities\nWith oversight and direction from the Program Director(s), the Program Coordinator is responsible for the operational functions of the accredited GME training programs. The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. The Program Coordinator should be organized in planning, assisting with maintaining continuing accreditation, recruiting of trainees, projects, analyzing and maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues and managing internal and external program relations. Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and GME databases.\nQualifications\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING\nThree (3) to five (5) years of Graduate Medical Education (GME) and/or Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) experience preferred. \nACGME experience preferred. \nTAGME certification encouraged but not required. \nExperience with New Innovations, ERAS preferred. \nAssociates degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.\nMinimum of 1 year of office administration experience, preferably in a healthcare and/or education setting.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to organize information\nAbility to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.\nWorking knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.\nAbility to make decisions independently or to escalate issues as needed.\nPay Transparency\nWest Anaheim Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs.
