Come join a team where your work truly matters.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare metal surfaces for coating, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and other required surface-preparation activities. \nOperate powder-coating equipment to apply coatings in accordance with established specifications and work instructions. \nSet up and adjust coating equipment and application parameters as required for assigned production work. \nMonitor the curing process and associated equipment to ensure coated components meet established requirements. \nLoad, position, handle, and move components and materials as required throughout the coating and finishing process. \nInspect coated components for coverage, finish, thickness, and other applicable quality requirements; identify and report defects or nonconforming conditions. \nPerform routine operator-level equipment checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance activities as authorized. \nMaintain required coating materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to support production activities. \nComplete and maintain required production, material, and quality documentation accurately. \nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. \nFollow all applicable safety, environmental, work instructions, and PPE requirements. \nWork collaboratively with team members to meet safety, quality, and production goals. \nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED required. \nPrevious powder-coating, industrial painting, or similar manufacturing experience preferred. \nAbility to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and coating requirements. \nFamiliarity with powder-coating equipment and processes preferred. \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality. \nBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to make routine equipment adjustments. \nAbility to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. \nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. \nShift Information\n1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM \n2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM \n3rd Shift - Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM\nAll new hires start on 2ndShift unless discussed.\nOvertime may be required, including early start times or later end times. \nPhysical Demands:\nThis position involves sustained physical activity and may require prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, grasping, and repetitive movement; and handling or positioning materials and equipment.
