This position involves inspecting products for quality, maintaining accurate production records, and ensuring materials meet customer specifications. The operator must follow established safety and production standards while maintaining an organized work area and meeting production goals.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nOperate and monitor CNC manufacturing machinery to produce wire and cable products according to specifications.\nInspect materials and finished products for quality, quantity, appearance, dimensions, and other required specifications.\nRead and follow work orders, production instructions, pick lists, and other documentation.\nIdentify production issues, machine malfunctions, and quality concerns and report them to supervision.\nMake appropriate machine adjustments as trained and authorized to maintain product quality and production efficiency.\nMaintain accurate, legible, and timely production records and documentation.\nFollow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area by following daily housekeeping, preventive maintenance, and foreign object debris (FOD) standards.\nHandle materials and finished products safely and place products in designated areas.\nWork with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and customer requirements.\nFollow company policies, quality standards, and established operating procedures.\nParticipate in required training, including safety and job-specific training.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEssential Knowledge and Skills:\nMechanical and Technical Skills: Ability to learn and operate manufacturing machinery, understand basic machine functions, and recognize when equipment is not operating properly.\nAttention to Detail: Ability to follow specifications, inspect products carefully, identify defects, and maintain consistent quality.\nAnalytical and Reasoning Ability: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, identify production issues, and respond appropriately to changing priorities.\nMathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and understand measurements and production quantities.\nCommunication Skills: Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation in English. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.\nComputer and Documentation Skills: Ability to complete production paperwork accurately and enter information into company systems as required.\nAccountabilities:\nAttendance/Punctuality: Reports to work on time and follows scheduled work hours, breaks, and lunches.\nDependability: Follows instructions, takes responsibility for assigned tasks, and operates equipment according to established procedures.\nQuality: Ensures products meet required specifications and promptly reports defects or quality concerns.\nProductivity: Meets production expectations while maintaining safety and quality standards.\nTeamwork: Works cooperatively with others, communicates effectively, and assists team members when needed.\nSafety: Follows company safety policies, uses equipment properly, and reports potential hazards.\nDocumentation: Completes required production records accurately and in a timely manner.\nWork Environment:\nWorks in a manufacturing environment focused on cleanliness, safety, and product quality.\nMay work in varying temperatures and be exposed to manufacturing machinery and typical production noise.\nRequires standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, and repetitive hand and body movements.\nMay require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials and products.\nRequires the use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safe material-handling practices.\nMay be required to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts based on business needs.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred;
