Technician, 2nd shift (with $2.50 shift differential!)\nSchedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm\nPosition Overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, overhauling and repairing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n Ensure safety policies, housekeeping rules and guidelines, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed\n Interpret blueprints and schematics when working on machines\n Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment\n Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.\n Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic and vacuum systems\n Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts\n Operate machine tools such as welders, lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery\n Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work on machinery\n Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment\n Perform preventative maintenance\n Complete all paperwork as required\n Other duties as assigned\nPosition Requirements:\n High school graduate or equivalent required\n Mechanical and equipment experience in an industrial environment preferred\n Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation\n Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery and equipment\n Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals and specifications\n Good written and verbal communication skills\n Overtime may be required\nPay Range: $25-$35+, depending on
