We are seeking individuals with a service first mentality and effective communication skills, all while maintaining a high level of attention to details.\n\nWhat we are looking for\n1 year experience in customer service\nProperty & Casualty Insurance License- preferred \nInsurance related designation- preferred\n\nWhat you’ll do\nEffectively present information and respond to questions to groups or individuals while providing outstanding hospitality\nLearns and maintains a demonstrated understanding of Commercial Lines insurance, company products, pricing, and coverages in all states where Central does business.\nDevelops, demonstrates, and applies knowledge of the Commercial Lines policy system as well as other related and supporting systems. Utilizes the policy system and other related supporting systems to make sound decisions.\nIndependently screens, quotes and processes new submissions, issues, renewals, and endorsements for policies.\nCoordinates documentation for underwriting files.\nCommunicates and coordinates any necessary follow up with Underwriters.\nTrains underwriters, agents, marketing representatives, and other stakeholders on Commercial Lines system\nWorks pro-actively with underwriter(s) in support of our new and renewal client base (both PL and CL)\nConducts workshops for the Commercial Lines department, marketing, agents, underwriters, and other customers\nCreates and maintains strong relationships through collaboration with agents, Underwriters, Marketing and other stakeholders\nWorks with Commercial Lines Underwriting team to collect information, perform data entry, analyze risk factors and more to meet policy needs\nResearches and responds to customer needs\nResponsible for providing the highest level of accuracy and support to the underwriter(s) throughout the new business lifecycle and ongoing renewal account maintenance.\nPerforms initial review, triage and processing of small new business and renewal submissions.\nPerforms specialized rating functions as they relate to assigned product line\nResponds to verbal or written inquiries via underwriters by agents within the department customer service standards.\nPerforms the initial renewal review within department authority and makes recommendations when sending to the underwriter.\nOrders reports as requested by underwriters, completes general duties and reviews various reports within department authority\nAnalyzes rating sequence to determine premium is being calculated correctly.\nReviews endorsements to ensure compliance with our underwriting guidelines.\nAssists with testing initiatives\nPerforms department audits\nUses Commercial lines knowledge to train others\n\nHiring Range\n$23/hour–$30/hour represents typical starting salaries and is a portion of the full pay range for the role. \nStarting pay is determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, and certifications.
