Centric Brands reflects a team built on respect, for others and for the hard work it takes to achieve our goals and build our bright future together.\nSpecific Responsibilities Would Include\nSupport in Product development, costing, price negotiation\nHandle end to end product’s development till shipment, ensure right quality, right vendor, right price and on time delivery.\nSupport sampling approval process and ensure on timely submission along with good execution. (all Lab dips, bulk fabric color and quality submission).\nFollow up T&A (WIP) on a regular basis, ensure reporting on-time delivery regularly.\nCollaborate with buyers, suppliers & merchandising teams to negotiate prices, quantities, and timescales.\nMaximize customer interest at margin levels.\nBuild constructive customer/supplier relationships and teams with channel partners. \nEnsure vendor/factory make timely schedules for inspections.\nEnsure factory makes vsl/space booking with forwarder/shipping line and handover cargo/goods on time.\nEnsure suppliers provide the required shipping documents in timely manner after shipments.\nTime to time reporting to business leader as per requirements\nTake care of any Ad-hoc projects (Vendor compliance/documentations)\nCommunicate with buyers/Merchant teams on a regular basis to provide up-to-date info with regard to the status of production and shipment of garments.\nFollow the guidelines on the assigned product categories and being the key communicator for the assigned product areas in the business stream.\nCoordinate all operational activities from proto sample development, costing and production tracking, fabric and trim development etc. and WIP updates.\nCoordinate the Price Negotiation with suppliers as designated by the Sr. Merchandiser /Assistant Merchandise Manager/Merchandise Manager.\nResponsible for tracking critical path, forecasting delays and course corrective action if needed with proactive action plans to ensure On Time Delivery.\nIdentify and diagnose production problems and work with suppliers to present alternatives to buyers and line seniors.\nResponsible for production in the assigned factories and maintain liaison with QA Depts/Factory Mgt Team for quality, inspections, delivery deadlines etc.\nGeneral administrative work as or when required.\nOur Best Fit Candidate Would Have\nAdditional Requirements\n8-10 years working experience in merchandising.\nSound knowledge of garment manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques, knits and Denim products.\nAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines, highly detail oriented.\nProfessional qualification in related field.\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, Excel etc.\nCompetency Requirements (if applicable)\nBehavioral
