Centric Brands reflects a team built on respect, for others and for the hard work it takes to achieve our goals and build our bright future together.\nSpecific Responsibilities Would Include\nHandle the end-to-end merchandising process for Caps & Gloves from product development to final shipment, ensuring the right quality, competitive pricing, approved vendors, and on-time delivery.\nCoordinate product development activities including sourcing, sample development, costing, and commercial evaluation to meet customer requirements and business objectives.\nSupport and lead costing analysis and price negotiations with suppliers to achieve target margins while maintaining product quality and compliance standards.\nOversee the sampling approval process and ensure timely submission and approval of development samples, lab dips, bulk fabric color submissions, trims, and quality standards.\nFollow up T&A (WIP) on a regular basis, ensure reporting on-time delivery regularly.\nMaintain regular communication and coordination with buyers, suppliers, factories, and internal cross-functional teams regarding production status, development updates, shipment plans, and delivery schedules.\nNegotiate prices, capacities, lead times, and order quantities with suppliers and factories to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.\nMaximize customer interest at margin levels.\nBuild constructive customer/supplier relationships and teams with channel partners. \nEnsure vendors and factories schedule all required inspections on time and resolve any issues identified during the inspection process.\nEnsure factory makes vsl/space booking with forwarder/shipping line and handover cargo/goods on time.\nCoordinate with factories, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure vessel booking, space allocation, and timely cargo handover for shipments.\nTime to time reporting to business leader as per requirements. \nTake care of any Ad-hoc projects (Vendor compliance/documentation).\nCommunicate with buyers/Merchant teams on a regular basis to provide up-to-date info regarding the status of production and shipment of garments.\nIdentify and diagnose production problems and work with suppliers to present alternatives to buyers and line seniors.\nGeneral administrative work as or when required.\nOur Best Fit Candidate Would Have\nAdditional Requirements\n8-10 years of experience in merchandising, with substantial exposure to Accessories (Caps, Gloves, Bags, Headwear, and related products) in a buying house, sourcing office, or manufacturing environment.\nSound knowledge of accessories product development, manufacturing processes, material sourcing, trims, embellishments, packaging, quality standards, and production techniques for caps and gloves.\nBachelor’s degree in Textile, Fashion, Business, or a related field.\nStrong vendor management, communication, and negotiation skills.\nAbility to manage multiple orders, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines\nGood command of written and spoken English.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.\nDetail-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented mindset. \nCompetency Requirements (if applicable)\nCentric Values:\nInnovative\nResourceful\nCollaborative\nRespectful\nBehavioral Competencies:\nProblem Solving\nCapability to drive improvement of image\nInitiative\nOwnership\nCommunication\nLanguage Proficiency:\nFluent in: English\nSpecific Working Conditions\nFrequency of Travel: As required.\nBe part of our growing community by getting involved with groups, teams and initiatives like.
