We’re now looking for an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Service & Repair Engineer to join our growing Somerset team and help us deliver reliable, energy-efficient heating solutions to homes across the region.\nIf you’re passionate about renewable technology, enjoy solving technical challenges, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nYou’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient servicing, fault-finding and repair of Air Source Heat Pump systems in domestic properties, ensuring systems run at their best and customers receive a first-class experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nService, diagnose and repair Air Source Heat Pumps and associated heating controls\n\nWork in line with health & safety legislation, statutory regulations, manufacturer guidance and company processes\n\nDeliver a high-quality, professional experience in occupied residential properties\n\nEffectively manage your own workload, appointments and productivity\n\nComplete job records, reports and parts requests accurately using company systems\n\nAct as a professional ambassador for PH Jones at all times\n\nProactively identify system improvements, additional works or safety issues\n\nParticipate in the out-of-hours call-out rota when required\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive Package\nSalary: up to £45,000 subject to experience and qualifications\n\nFull-time, permanent contract\n\nAnnual pay review plus profit share scheme\n\nFully costed company van and fuel card\n\nExceptional Benefits\nEmployee energy allowance and exclusive discounts on HIVE products\n\nCompany pension scheme\n\n25 days annual leave + bank holidays\n\nFull sick pay after successful probation\n\nPlus much more!\n\nAbout You\nYou’re a skilled, customer-focused engineer who can work independently and confidently in residential environments.\nEssential Experience & Skills\nProven experience servicing and repairing Air Source Heat Pump systems\n\nStrong understanding of low-temperature heating systems and controls\n\nElectrical fault-finding skills relevant to heating systems\n\nExperience working in occupied domestic properties\n\nAbility to manage workload independently and meet productivity targets\n\nKnowledge of domestic renewable heating regulations\n\nStrong customer service mindset in a field-based role\n\nAwareness of health, safety and compliance requirements\n\nMCS awareness\n\nExperience with control systems including weather compensation, zoning and hybrid systems\n\nQualifications & Certifications\nLevel 3 Heat Pump qualification (or equivalent)\n\nUnvented Hot Water qualification (G3)\n\nF-Gas certification - desirable\n\n18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) - desirable\n\nACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) - desirable\n\nMinimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience\n\nFull UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)\n\nRight to work in the UK\n\nBe Part of Something Bigger\nBy joining PH Jones, you’ll be part of a team that’s revolutionising how we heat our homes and helping to build a more sustainable future.\nApply today and power your career with purpose.\nWhy should you apply?\nWe’re not a perfect place - but we’re a people place.
