Using data-driven insight, you'll help monitor, analyse and optimise debt outcomes, supporting everything from debt prevention and cash collection to operational efficiency and commercial performance.\nAs a Debt Strategy and Performance Analyst, you'll turn complex data into actionable recommendations, identifying trends, risks and opportunities that drive better business decisions and deliver sustainable reductions in the cost of debt. You'll measure the impact of strategic initiatives, track recovery performance, and help improve customer payment behaviours and bad debt outcomes.\nThis is a varied role with opportunities to develop expertise across areas such as Direct Debit performance, debt prevention, operational and third-party recovery performance, workflow management and debt operations, depending on business priorities and demand. If you're passionate about turning data into meaningful business outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.\nKey Accountabilities\nPerformance Insights and Analytical Investigations\nMonitor end-to-end debt performance across assigned areas of responsibility; identifying trends, risks and opportunities across debt, recoveries & business initiatives\nProduce and maintain regular reporting and management information packs\nTrack performance against goals, forecasts and business cases\nAnalyse operational and commercial performance drivers to identify root causes and improvement opportunities\nIdentify opportunities to increase operational efficiency and customer outcomes.\nTranslate complex data into meaningful insights with actionable recommendations.\nStrategy and Optimisation\nSupport the development and impact assessment of debt strategies, business cases and treatment approaches\nProvide evidence-based recommendations to support strategic decision making.\nModel potential performance impacts of proposed changes and initiatives\nSupport the implementation of initiatives, defining processes, testing and tangible KPIs to monitor success\nAssess the effectiveness of Business Initiatives deployed, measuring performance and ensuring expected outcomes & benefits are achieved\nIdentify opportunities for process simplification and efficiency improvement\nInsight, Governance and Reporting\nDevelop and maintain reporting suites, dashboards and KPIs frameworks to monitor performance.\nProduce meaningful management information that supports decision making and prioritisation.\nPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner\nAssist in ensuring recovery activities are delivered in line with business policies and governance requirements.\nMaintain documentation relating to initiatives, assumptions, methodologies and benefits tracking\nIdentify risks, control weaknesses and compliance concerns, escalating where appropriate.\n\nWork Experience and Skills\nStrong analytical experience within debt management, collections, finance, commercial performance or operational performance environments.\nExperience analysing large data sets and translating insight into actionable recommendations.\nExperience identifying and delivering performance improvement opportunities\nStrong numerical, problem solving and detailed root cause analysis - identify opportunities for performance improvement. \nExperience supporting business change and benefits realisation activities.\nExperience developing reporting, dashboards and KPI frameworks.\nCommercial awareness with the ability to balance customer outcomes and business performance.\nAdvanced analytical capability using SQL, Power BI, Fabric, Databricks, SAS or similar tools.\nStrong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.\nExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.\nWhy should you apply?\nWe’re not a perfect place - but we’re a people place.
