We are looking for a backend engineer to build and scale high-performance, distributed systems powering our fintech platforms. You will work on core backend services, APIs, and data systems that handle large-scale financial transactions and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and scale backend services and APIs.
- Develop robust, secure, and high-performance systems.
- Work on distributed architectures and microservices.
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams.
- Optimise system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
Requirements:
- 2-8 years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
- Experience building scalable and high-throughput systems.
- Hands-on with at least one backend language (Go/Python/Java).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Understanding of databases, caching, and system performance.
Tech Stack:
- Languages: Golang, Python, Java.
- Frameworks: Spring Boot (Java-based services).
- Cloud: AWS.
- Databases: MongoDB + other NoSQL/SQL systems.
- Architecture: Microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems.
Good to Have:
- Experience in fintech/wealth/high-scale platforms.
- Exposure to event-driven systems, Kafka, etc.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and financial data systems.
