Serves as the subject matter expert for assigned systems and components and provides an interface between Engineering and centrifuge manufacturing departments.\nWhat You will be Doing\nProvide support for construction activities and systems testing/turnover, to ensure facilities and systems are capable of meeting manufacturing requirements\nLead process development and improvement activities by providing input on process flow, layout, equipment, tooling, and manning requirements to ensure process safety and effective process management\nDevelop and maintain effective and accurate manufacturing process documentation, procedures, work instructions, FMEA, control plans, and flow charts\nProvide input on design and development of manufacturing equipment and tooling\nProvide technical support for troubleshooting, corrective actions, and process improvements\nUnderstand complex mechanical drawings and specifications\nEnsure all changes are made in compliance with regulatory requirements, through the performance of change evaluations\nProduce technical reports, literature reviews, and progress updates; present findings and status briefings to stakeholders and senior management\nSupport generation of specific system design requirements (SRDs)\nWe'd Love to Hear from Candidates With\nBachelor of science degree in engineering from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited college or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience\nAt least 5 years engineering experience preferred\nMechanical engineering discipline preferred\nEffective in multiple communication modes with various vendors, suppliers, and internal team members\nPossess effective oral and written communication skills\nBe able to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance\nA Successful Candidate Bring\nManufacturing/Assembly experience and/or aptitude\nExperience with high vacuum systems and equipment\nLean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience \nCurrently possess a “Q” level security clearance\nPay\nEstimated Starting Base Salary Range:$65,555 - $109,259. This position is Incentive eligible.Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
