Provides support to the Centrifuge Program to accomplish goals and objectives while ensuring compliance to Centrus standards and practices.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAssist in leading, designing, building, and troubleshooting the followingPlant expansion activities\nLarge scale heating and cooling systems\nHigh vacuum systems \nHelium leak detection equipment\nComposite parts and assemblies\nMachined parts and assemblies\n\nAssist in design and analysis of structural and dynamic systems\nDesign manufacturing equipment as needed for manufacturing activities\nDevelop specifications for fabrication materials and equipment\nAssist in the creation, review, and approval of engineering packages to be used for fabrication\nEstablish procedures for assembly and repair of fabricated components\nDrive process improvement activities for internal activities and external suppliers\nManage multiple priorities and ensure that deliverables are met within schedule and budget\nAdheres to company policies and procedures with regards to safety, code of conduct, security, and environmental program requirements\nContribute to cross functional teams including design, engineering, manufacturing, operations, testing, quality and purchasing\nWe'd Love to Hear from Candidates With:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.\n8+years of experience in a professional environment (A Masters may be used to substitute for 2 years experience)\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance\nA Successful Candidate Brings:\nMasters degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering\nPreference will be given to applicants currently holding an active Q-level or DOD TS security clearance\nProject Management experience\n5+ years CAD experience (SolidWorks experience a plus)\nExperience using FEA (SolidWorks experience is a plus)\nCentrifuge design, test, and/or manufacturing experience is a plus\nExperience with QL-1 or QL-2 quality parts/systems\nAn active or previously held Q-level security clearance\nPay:\nEstimated Starting Base Salary Range: $98,227 - $163,711. This position is incentive eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.\nIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.\nThis position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.\nCentrus Energy and all subsidiaries shall abide by the applicable legal requirements.
