The successful candidate will bring real-world implementation experience, a strong understanding of Fabric architecture and services, and the ability to guide customers on how to leverage the platform to support analytics, governance and AI initiatives.\nYour role\nAs a Lead Data Architect, you will take a leading role in shaping modern data and analytics solutions built on Microsoft technologies. You will work with customers across industries to understand business challenges, challenge assumptions, define future-state architectures, guide technology decisions and lead implementation initiatives. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping organizations understand how data platforms, business applications, analytics and AI come together to create competitive advantage.\nInternally, you will also contribute to developing Cepheo’s Data, Analytics and AI offerings, share your expertise across the organization and mentor colleagues.\nKey responsibilities\nAct as a subject matter expert, guiding customers on architecture decisions, platform adoption, implementation approaches and best practices\n\nLead architecture discussions and advise customers on data, analytics and AI strategy\n\nTranslate business requirements into scalable, secure and future-ready technical solutions\n\nDesign data models, information architectures, security models and governance frameworks\n\nEnsure end-to-end integrity across data ingestion, transformation, storage, reporting and security\n\nDesign data platforms that support analytics, AI and Generative AI use cases\n\nHelp customers understand opportunities, risks and limitations related to AI adoption\n\nAdvise on how data from business systems, integration layers and analytics platforms should connect\n\nAct as a technical lead and trusted advisor in customer engagements\n\nCollaborate with consultants, analysts, developers and business stakeholders\n\nContribute to building and evolving Cepheo’s Data, Analytics and AI offerings\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nWe believe you bring a strong combination of technical expertise, business understanding, and consulting experience. Most importantly, you know how to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and help customers identify the best path forward.\nCore Experience\nSolid experience within Data & Analytics, preferably with architectural responsibility\n\nExtensive hands-on experience designing, implementing and operating solutions on Microsoft Fabric\n\nProven experience designing and implementing modern data platforms\n\nStrong knowledge of Azure-based data services\n\nExcellent SQL skills\n\nExperience with lakehouse architecture and modern data platform design\n\nExperience with data modelling, information architecture, governance, and security\n\nExperience working directly with customers in a consulting or advisory role\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders\n\nExperience presenting, positioning, and advocating solution proposals\n\nMicrosoftBusiness Applications & Enterprise Data\nA strong understanding of how operational systems connect to analytics platforms is important in this role. We are particularly interested in candidates who understand data models, integrations, and data flows related to:\nDynamics 365 Finance & Operations\n\nDataverse\n\nMicrosoft business applications\n\nEnterprise integration architecture\n\nYou do not need hands-on experience working within these applications, but understanding how data moves from business systems into analytics platforms is essential.\nAI & Modern Data Platforms\nWe are particularly interested in candidates who understand how modern data platforms enable AI-driven business value. Experience with the following is considered a strong advantage:\nGenerative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)\n\nMicrosoft AI technologies, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, and Copilot technologies\n\nRetrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and semantic retrieval\n\nAI governance, security, and responsible AI\n\nHow data quality, governance, and architecture impact AI solutions\n\nWho you are\nYou are curious, analytical and motivated by solving complex business challenges.
