This position carries out responsibilities in a wide range of HR areas including recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The HR Generalist serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.\nJob Status:\nFull-Time\nExempt\nReports to: HR Manager\nRole Responsibilities:\nAdminister and support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews.\nHandle employee relations issues and provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and best practices.\nManage benefits administration, including health insurance, 401(k), and other employee programs.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and others.\nCoordinate recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and assisting with offer letters.\nAdminister the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.\nConduct regular audits of HR policies and employee files to ensure compliance.\nAssist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.\nAssist with employee training programs, including coordination of training logistics and tracking attendance.\nSupport the HR Manager in addressing employee concerns, investigations, and disciplinary actions.\nFacilitate employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.\nPrepare reports and presentations for HR metrics and compliance audits.\nOther duties as required\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.\nSHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.\nExperience / Skills / Abilities:\n2-4 years of experience in a generalist HR role.\nStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.\nBilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required.\nJob Expectations / Working Conditions:\nAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.\nOccasional travel may be required for training and
