This includes conducting analyses and physical tests on samples, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and maintaining laboratory equipment and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work well in a team, and a commitment to safety and quality.\nJob Status:\nFull-Time\nHourly\nNon-Exempt\nReports to: QC Manager\nRole Responsibilities:\nCollaborate with other lab personnel to complete tasks accurately and on time.\nPerform analyses and physical tests on in-process, finished, cleanout, and check samples.\nEnsure samples are taken and retains are prepared according to customer requirements.\nRelease products that meet testing and customer specifications.\nFollow procedures for disposing of laboratory waste.\nReport production unit status in the shift log at the end of each shift.\nCalibrate production unit scales at least once per shift.\nConduct instrument qualifications, clean-outs, and special analyses as needed.\nPerform water treatment plant duties as instructed.\nPrepare reagent standards, such as 342 water.\nCalibrate lab equipment as assigned.\nMaintain and organize sample retain lockers.\nPerform laboratory housekeeping duties.\nMonitor inventory of consumables and stock work areas.\nAdhere to safety rules and perform tasks responsibly.\nPerform other tasks as assigned.\nEducation:\nAssociate’s degree in chemistry or a related technical field, or a high school diploma with 2 years of relevant work experience.\nExperience / Skills / Abilities:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in using laboratory equipment and software.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.\nTime management and organizational skills.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks.\nJob Expectations / Working Conditions:\nWork is primarily performed in a laboratory setting.\nMay involve exposure to hazardous chemicals and materials;
