Here at Plansee, we have a lot of plans for the future - Your chance as ….\nCNC Process Engineer\nIn Shanghai, China\nEXCITING ASSIGNMENTS\nInquiry stage: Based on the customer's drawings, determine the product processing steps, equipment, and processing time, and assess the processing cost\nPrepare relevant documents (such as process documents, work instructions, etc.) according to the requirements of the ISO9001 system\nDevelop efficient and high-quality product processes and machining programs (three-axis or five-axis machining center programs and lathe machining programs)\nResponsible for designing fixtures related to the product manufacturing process (having this skill is preferred, but not required)\nResponsible for guiding and controlling the entire manufacturing process (e.g., common processes such as turning, milling, grinding, EDM, lapping, surface treatment, etc.)\nResponsible for solving process problems encountered during production and processing, ensuring smooth processing operations, and providing on-site guidance\nBe responsible for optimizing product processes, improving product quality and production efficiency, and reducing product costs\nFamiliar with the NPI (new product introduction) process, responsible for the trial production process of new products, and assist other departments in developing new products\nYOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS\nMajor in mechanical engineering, numerical control, mold manufacturing, or related fields, familiar with various geometric tolerances and technical requirements of product drawings\nFamiliar with the processing capabilities, ranges, and characteristics of various machining equipment (CNC horizontal/vertical lathes, 3-axis machining centers, 5-axis machining centers, EDM, and various grinding machines)\nWith over 3.5 years of experience in machining processes and related product processing techniques/programs (a must-have is proficiency in three-axis machining center programs or lathe machining programs, with additional skills in both turning and milling programs, as well as five-axis programming being a plus), experience in single-piece and small-batch processes and programs is preferred.
