You will work on a mature product with interconnected modules, rich user interactions, complex application logic, and functionality that continues to evolve over time.\nYou will work on the highly interactive application layer through which users explore, understand, and work with complex, interconnected information.\nYou will collaborate closely with frontend and backend engineers, product, and design. We are looking for someone who can navigate a complex product, understand how different partsof the application affect each other, ask the right questions, and take ownership when requirements are not fully defined.\nResponsibilities\nBuild and evolve complex functionality in a large React and TypeScript application\nDevelop highly interactive application interfaces with complex user interactions, state, logic, and dependencies\nConsider the broader product impact of changes and understand how different areas of the application interact\nBuild new functionality while maintaining and improving features already used by customers\nWork with structured and interconnected data, asynchronous processes, backend services, and APIs\nCollaborate closely with frontend and backend engineers on technical solutions and implementation\nWork closely with the Product team to understand problems, shape solutions, and contribute beyond simply executing predefined tasks\nInvestigate problems, gather missing information, and propose solutions when requirements are not fully defined \nRequired Skills\n7+ years of professional software development experience\nStrong commercial experience with React and TypeScript\nProven experience building and maintaining large, complex web applications\nStrong JavaScript fundamentals\nExperience building complex application interfaces involving application state, business logic, asynchronous behavior, and dependencies between features\nExperience working with large, existing codebases where changes may affect multiple areas of the product\nExperience integrating frontend applications with backend services and working with structured and interconnected data\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\nAbility to work independently when requirements are not fully defined\nAbility to ask questions, gather missing information, and proactively move work forward\nAbility to write clean, maintainable, production ready code\nStrong collaboration and communication skills\nAt least B2 English level \nPreferred Skills\nExperience working in a product company, especially on a product developed and maintained over a longer period of time\nExperience with products used by multiple customers or user groups\nExperience working with mature products that contain legacy functionality and complex dependencies\nPrevious full stack or backend development experience, ideally with .NET (C#)\nUnderstanding of backend concepts such as authentication, databases, API design, and data modelling\nExperience with graphs, trees, diagrams, or other interconnected structures\nExperience with interactive visualization using D3.js, PixiJS, SVG, or Canvas\nExperience solving algorithmic or data structure related problems\nExperience with GitLab and CI/CD\nExperience working in a fast-changing product environment \nMore about Cerebre\nWe are cross-functional collaborators.
