We’re 100% remote and offer a competitive time-off package to ensure time for rest and recharge.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong React and TypeScript experience who enjoys building complex applications that go far beyond forms, dashboards, and standard API integrations.\nAt cerebre, you will work across the application stack, with a strong focus on the frontend, where users explore, understand, and interact with complex industrial information.\nYou will work on a large React and TypeScript application with interconnected modules, rich user interactions, complex application state, non-trivial business logic, and data that often has relationships and structure beyond simple lists and tables.\nA meaningful part of the work involves understanding how data is represented and processed across the system. Depending on the problem, this may include graphs, trees, matrices, hierarchical structures, spatial relationships, or multidimensional data.\nThis is complex application development rather than website development.\nWe are looking for someone who is comfortable going deeper than the framework layer and who can reason about how data structures, algorithms, APIs, backend services, performance, and architecture affect the behavior of the application.\nYou do not need to be a mathematician or algorithm specialist. We are looking for an experienced engineer who has worked with technically complex products and is comfortable moving across frontend, backend, and data boundaries when solving a problem.\nYou will collaborate closely with frontend and backend engineers, Product, and Design. We do not have dedicated architects in our teams, so engineers are expected to actively participate in technical decisions, identify risks, propose solutions, and take ownership of their areas.\nWhat you will work on\nYou will help us build and evolve a mature enterprise application used by customers in the industrial world.\nYour work may include:\nBuilding highly interactive interfaces with complex state, logic, and dependencies\nWorking with structured and interconnected engineering data\nTranslating complex domain models into understandable application behavior\nHandling asynchronous processes and data coming from multiple services\nCollaborating on API design, data models, and frontend/backend boundaries\nSolving performance problems related to large or complex datasets\nWorking with relationships between entities rather than only flat collections of data\nDesigning how data should be represented and transformed across the application\nExtending existing functionality without data\nWork across frontend and backend boundaries when needed to deliver complete solutions\nCollaborate on APIs, data models, integrations, and system boundaries\nUnderstand how data representation implementation and delivery\nWrite clean, maintainable, production-ready code\nRequired Skills\n7+ years of professional software development experience\nStrong commercial experience with React and TypeScript\nStrong JavaScript fundamentals\nProven experience building and maintaining large, complex web applications\nExperience building application interfaces involving complex state, business logic, asynchronous behavior, and dependencies between features\nExperience working with large existing codebases where changes may affect multiple areas of the product\nExperience working across frontend and backend boundaries, including APIs, data modelling, integrations, or application architecture\nExperience integrating frontend applications with backend services and APIs\nPractical experience working with non-trivial structured or interconnected data, such as: trees, graphs, matrices, hierarchical data, spatial data, multidimensional data, other relationship-heavy structures\nAbility to explain how data was represented, transformed, and used within the application\nExperience solving problems where data representation influenced the implementation, architecture, or performance of the solution\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills\nAbility to reason about performance when processing larger or more complex datasets\nAbility to work backend are two separate sets of implementation tasks.\nYou will work on problems where the shape of the data and the interaction between different parts of the system matter.\nSometimes the challenge will be the interface. Sometimes state management. Sometimes an API or data model. Sometimes performance.
