Each one is personalized, provisioned, and securely configured to support caregivers at home.\nAs we scale nationally, we are building a high-functioning Boston-based device deployment center to support growing demand.\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Mobile Device Deployment & Fulfillment Technician to manage provisioning, configuration, tracking, and shipping of Android tablets used by families across the country.\nThis role blends IT device management, inventory control, and operational execution. You will be responsible for ensuring each tablet is correctly enrolled, configured, quality-checked, and shipped with precision.\nThis is not a warehouse-only role. It is a technical operations position critical to our growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevice Provisioning & Configuration\nEnroll Android tablets into MDM systems (Knox, Miradore, or similar) \nAssign and track IMEIs accurately \nConfigure applications, settings, and remote access tools (e.g., SplashTop) \nPerform functional testing and quality assurance before shipment \nTroubleshoot device issues prior to deployment \nFulfillment & Shipping\nGenerate shipping labels (FedEx system/API integration) \nPair device identity with shipment tracking \nMaintain organized staging and packing workflows \nEnsure packaging materials and documentation are accurate and up to date \nProcess returns and redeploy devices \nInventory & Data Accuracy\nTrack tablet inventory, accessories, and supplies \nMaintain clean documentation of IMEI-to-family assignments \nManage device lifecycle (new, deployed, returned, retired) \nReconcile physical inventory with system records \nProcess Improvement\nIdentify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements \nSupport scaling from 30 → 100+ devices/day \nCollaborate with IT, operations, and fulfillment teams on automation initiatives (e.g., FedEx API, label systems) \nRequired Qualifications\n1-5 years experience in: \nIT Support \nDesktop Support \nDevice Deployment \nMobile Device Technician \nHardware Configuration \nExperience provisioning Android devices preferred \nFamiliarity with MDM systems (Knox, Miradore, Intune, etc.) \nExperience with IMEI tracking or hardware asset management \nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy \nComfortable working independently in an onsite environment \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in healthcare or regulated environments \nExperience with shipping systems (FedEx, UPS) \nFamiliarity with label printers (Dymo, Zebra) \nExperience supporting remote teams \nStartup or scaling environment experience \nWhat Success Looks Like\nZero device-to-family mismatches \nAccurate IMEI tracking \nDevices shipped within agreed SLA \nReduced rework and device return issues \nAbility to scale volume efficiently \nClean, organized physical and digital workflows \nWhy This Role Matters\nThis role directly impacts caregiver experience and our ability to scale nationally.
