This role combines data engineering, analytics, and technical business analysis, with opportunities to turn business requirements into working solutions.\nUsing a variety of skills and methods including SQL, Python, and Machine Learning you will build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, connect existing databases and applications, and contribute to new systems that capture, organize, and analyze business information. This position is suited to someone with strong SQL and Python skills who enjoys solving practical problems, learning new techniques, and building tools that people use.\nResponsibilities:\nBuild and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that extract, transform, and integrate data from existing databases, business applications, and newly developed systems.\nContribute to data warehouse development by implementing and maintaining tables, data models, and analytical datasets with architectural guidance.\nWork with business stakeholders and the technical manager to understand workflows, clarify requirements, and translate needs into defined technical tasks.\nDevelop integrations, automation, and business system components that improve how information is captured, connected, and used.\nHelp implement record-linkage and entity-resolution solutions using rules-based, probabilistic, and machine learning approaches; investigate uncertain matches and validate results.\nPrepare datasets and help develop, test, and evaluate forecasting and classification models.\nIntegrate approved model outputs into data pipelines, business systems, dashboards, and reporting workflows.\nImplement data validation and reconciliation checks; investigate discrepancies and troubleshoot pipeline and integration issues.\nCollaborate with the technical manager and DevOps engineer to test, deploy, and monitor solutions using established engineering practices.\nDocument data flows, business rules, integration logic, and changes so solutions are understandable and maintainable.\nTake ownership of assigned deliverables, communicate progress and blockers, and incorporate feedback from technical reviews.\nThis position is located onsite in Reno, Nevada.\nQualifications\nStrong SQL skills for querying, transforming, validating, and troubleshooting relational data.\nStrong Python skills for data processing, analysis, and automation.\nFoundational understanding of data warehousing, relational data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts.\nFoundational understanding of machine learning concepts and an interest in applying them to record linkage, forecasting, and classification.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance when needed.\nClear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business colleagues.\nEducation/Experience\nBachelor’s degree.\n2 + years of relevant experience in data engineering, data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, or technical business analysis.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Power BI, DAX.\nExposure to record matching, deduplication, forecasting, or classification through work, coursework, or personal projects.\nExperience connecting applications or databases through APIs.\nFamiliarity with version control, automated testing, and deployment workflows.\nAbout Hamilton\nDiverse portfolio of exciting and innovative design projects.\nTremendous opportunities for professional growth.\nCommitment to sustainable design.\nCompetitive compensation.\nExcellent benefit package includes medical, dental, vision insurance, paid vacation time, paid sick time, disability insurance, 401k, tuition reimbursement and more.\nSolid stable company.\nMust pass drug and background screens.\nMay be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (provided by employer).\nEEO -
