We are seeking a strategic, self-directed Marketing Manager who can operate as both a trusted advisor and executional partner for our advisor teams. This role requires someone who combines strong business acumen with a proactive, hands-on approach, is able to see the big picture, takes ownership, and moves initiatives forward.\nThe ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of marketing experience within professional or financial services and a demonstrated ability to translate business goals into integrated marketing strategies and measurable results. This person will be equally comfortable advising senior stakeholders and rolling up their sleeves to assist in campaign execution.\nSuccess in this role requires intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, and an instinct for anticipating needs before they arise.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nAdvisor Team Partnership\nServe as a trusted marketing advisor and hands-on partner to advisor teams, helping them define goals, prioritize initiatives, and execute programs that drive measurable growth.\nLead and facilitate planning sessions to uncover business objectives, target audiences, and growth opportunities, then translate those discussions into clear, actionable marketing plans.\nDevelop and manage annual marketing plans that combine strategic focus with tactical execution, ensuring all initiatives tie directly to firm and advisor business goals.\nPartner with advisors on campaign execution, including content development, email and social campaigns, events, and client communications, while maintaining strategic alignment and brand consistency.\nAnticipate needs and proactively suggest new marketing ideas, events, and client/COI engagement opportunities based on market trends, advisor priorities and best practices occurring on other advisor teams.\nMaintain ongoing accountability for results, tracking performance metrics and adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.\nIntegrated Marketing & Campaigns\nIn partnership with the advisor teams, quarterback the end-to-end development of integrated marketing initiatives across digital, social, content, and events.\nPartner with internal CP teams to coordinate deliverables, timelines, and quality control across multiple concurrent projects.\nUse data and analytics to measure engagement, demonstrate ROI, and continuously improve marketing efforts.\nStay current on industry trends and competitor activity, bringing fresh, high-value ideas to advisor teams and firm leadership.\nContent & Knowledge Management\nAct as a connector between advisor teams and the firmwide marketing function, ensuring alignment with overall strategy and best practices.\nMaintain deep understanding of the wealth management and financial advisory landscape, client expectations, and marketing compliance considerations.\nManage and refresh materials within the Marketing Content Library, ensuring all content is accurate, current, and optimized for advisor use.\nCapture successful campaigns, case studies, and marketing wins to share firmwide and replicate across markets.\nPerform ad hoc projects for Director of Practice Marketing as required.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.\n7 to 10 years of progressive marketing experience in professional or financial services.\nDemonstrated success leading integrated, multi-channel marketing initiatives that align with firmwide goals and deliver measurable business results.\nAbility to travel up to 15%.\nStrategic & Advisory Skills\nProven ability to own and drive marketing strategy from concept through execution, connecting tactics across digital, content, event, and social channels to overall strategy.\nConfident advisor to senior stakeholders, with the ability to challenge assumptions and guide direction.\nSelf-starter who anticipates needs, takes ownership, and moves initiatives forward without waiting for direction.\nComfortable leading cross-functional discussions, influencing outcomes, and holding others accountable to deadlines and quality standards.\nTechnology, Analytics & Reporting\nHands-on experience managing CRM and marketing automation platforms.\nExperience building performance reports that link marketing activity to revenue, KPIs, and client engagement, and translating data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders.\nCommunication & Project Management\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into compelling narratives.\nHighly organized and detail-oriented, with a record of managing multiple priorities and maintaining momentum in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMasters degree or MBA\nDirect experience in wealth management or financial advisory, or familiarity with the wealth management landscape.\nExperience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Asana.\nInterest in building new processes and contributing to the growth of a central marketing function.\nCompensation Range: $150,000 - $170,000/year\nThe Team\nThe Cerity Partners marketing team touches all aspects of brand, performance marketing, content, and communications across the firm.
