This role is responsible for driving reconciliation governance, improving financial controls, ensuring accurate subledger-to-general ledger activity, and supporting a disciplined month-end close process within a multi-entity environment.\nThe successful candidate will partner closely with the Assistant Corporate Controller, Controller, General Ledger Manager, and Reporting Manager to strengthen financial accuracy, standardize reconciliation processes, and improve visibility into balance sheet performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccount Reconciliation Governance\nEstablish and maintain enterprise-wide policies, standards, and procedures for general ledger account reconciliations.\nOwn the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process across all entities.\nLead reconciliation governance and certification processes utilizing Trintech (Adra) or similar reconciliation platforms.\nMonitor reconciliation completion, quality, and timeliness across business units.\nReview high-risk, complex, and judgmental account reconciliations.\nEnsure integrity of subledger-to-general ledger activity, including: Accounts Receivable\n Accounts Payable\n Inventory\n Fixed Assets\n Intercompany Accounts\n Cash and Bank Accounts\n\nInvestigate aged reconciling items and drive timely resolution.\nMaintain reconciliation risk rankings and establish appropriate review frequencies.\nDevelop reconciliation performance metrics and reporting dashboards for Finance leadership.\nIdentify recurring issues and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.\nLeadership & Collaboration\nManage and develop a team of accounting professionals.\nPromote a culture of accountability, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nDrive process standardization and best-practice adoption across the organization.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.\nMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.\nPrior people management experience.\nDirect experience with Trintech Adra or similar reconciliation management software.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nExperience working within multi-entity organizations.\nStrong understanding of: Subledger-to-General Ledger integrations\n Inventory valuation reconciliations\n Intercompany accounting and eliminations\n Accrual accounting\n Month-end close processes\n Internal controls and financial governance\n\nDesired Experience\nManufacturing, industrial, or distribution industry experience.\nExperience supporting internal and external audits and SOX-like control environments.\nERP experience.
