Areas of responsibility will include all facets of the production environment as well as facility’s maintenance, HVAC, hydraulics and electrical work.\nContributes to a positive working culture, builds strong relationships, and lives out the values of integrity, collaboration, and accountability.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOwnership of the preventative maintenance program.\nTroubleshoot and repair CNC lathes, mills, hobbing equipment, saws, etc.\nWork closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to expedite projects and material needs as required.\nUpdate and track machine repair in systems database.\nMaintain a sense of urgency, self-motivation and overall good work ethic while operating in a safe manner.\nAdherence to LOTO procedures.\nRecommend improvements to current maintenance processes and activities.\nFabricate and implement tooling and fixturing\nMonitor levels of perishable tooling and make recommendations to maintenance supervisor\nAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.\nCOMPETENCIES:\nKnowledge of practices used in CNC and mechanical machine diagnostics and repair, as well as building, electrical or mechanical trades required\nMust be able to read and understand diagrams, schematics, engineering prints and manuals for mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.\nMust possess basic fabrication techniques that would be used in machine repair. \nMust be able to use electrical test equipment to identify, analyze, and resolve electrical problems.\nMust possess a “strong hands-on” attitude and knowledge of electrical, electronic, PLC controls and computerized components of CNC and manual machines.\nPLC trouble shooting and reading\nWelding and use of cutting torches\nAbility to perform light fabrication\nAbility to read ladder logic\nAbility to work autonomously \nCNC programing and operation\nPHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit;
