The Technical Due Diligence Engineer reports to the Technical Due Diligence Manager and is responsible for understanding the technical feasibility of assets and solving any technical, legal, or urban obstacles. The Engineer should verify any future assumptions for an asset that is to be sold or be commercially exploited.
Main Responsibilities
- Collecting of a technical property file (topographic, building permits, approved plans etc.)
- Carrying out Urban & technical inspection of properties
- Evaluating of the urban identity of the buildings and cost analysis of its restoration
- Drawing up Technical Due Diligence Reports
- Coordinating and processing of all activities necessary for the legalizations of existing buildings according to the Greek Legal Framework (Law 4495/2017).
- Drawing up Land surveying studies (plots of land in seaside areas, plots of land in forests, etc.).
- Handling construction related licensing and permits of new and existing buildings.
Job Requirements
- Holds a Polytechnic University Degree in Civil Engineering, Rural and Surveying Engineering or Architecture
- Is familiar or can perform in a combination of projects, including preparation for sale contracts, legalization of assets by L.4495/2017 and technical studies
- Is familiar with topographic issues, GOK, NOK & cadastral issues
- Has experience of 5-10 years
- Has an excellent knowledge of the English Language
- Can work effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving environment
- Is a team player and an excellent communicator
- Is a problem solver and has the ability to follow deadlines and deliver under pressure
