In this role you will perform machining operations to manufacture precision components for products and platforms. and quality requirements.\nWorking cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, quality, production control, and supply chain teams, the CNC Machinist III supports machining activities from setup through final inspection.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSet up and operate CNC machines to manufacture complex precision components using approved machining programs, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing procedures.\nPerform machine offsets, tooling adjustments, program verification, and setup optimization to support production requirements.\nTroubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions to maintain quality, productivity, and equipment performance.\nPerform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and other inspection tools.\nVerify completed parts meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.\nDocument inspection results, production data, nonconformances, and corrective actions in manufacturing records.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, production control, and supply chain teams supporting production activities.\nSupport new product introductions, tooling improvements, machine setups, preventive maintenance, and process improvement initiatives.\nProvide guidance to team members on machining practices, equipment operation, and manufacturing procedures.\nApply machining procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and company policies throughout production.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRecommend improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, manufacturing efficiency, and equipment utilization.\nThe ideal candidate is a strong team player who values collaboration, communicates effectively, and is willing to support others to achieve shared goals.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nAssociate degree or technical certification in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, machining technology, or a related technical field.\n3-5 years of related experience in CNC machining, precision machining, manufacturing, or related production operations.\nStrong knowledge of CNC machining, machining processes, manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and shop mathematics.\nProficiency using precision measuring instruments, machine setup techniques, and dimensional inspection methods.\nStrong understanding of machining materials, cutting tools, tooling selection, quality requirements, and manufacturing processes.\nExperience supporting complex machining operations while balancing quality, productivity, and schedule requirements.\nExercises sound judgment when resolving machining issues and supporting manufacturing operations.\nMicrosoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.\nCNC machine controls and manufacturing software, e.g. Haas, Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens, or equivalent systems.\nManufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP systems, and electronic work instruction applications, e.g. Epicor, SAP, Solumina, or equivalent
