The ideal candidate will have experience in high-reliability industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical devices. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment and be capable and motivated to build, repair and maintain an SMT circuit card and electronics final assemblies.\nAs we are a start-up the expectation is that we all wear many hats, and at times you may be asked to assist in additional duties such as performing cycle counts of inventory, assisting in shipping and receiving functions, or other tasks.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAssemble complex mechanical and electrical components, subassemblies, and products using engineering drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.\nPerform equipment setup, tooling changes, production adjustments, and troubleshooting to support manufacturing requirements.\nResolve routine manufacturing and assembly issues while maintaining established quality, safety, and productivity standards.\nAssist with the assembly, buildout, and functional checkout of automation equipment, fixtures, and tooling used in production processes.\nSupport the development and upkeep of manufacturing route steps, work instructions, and standardized work within the MES, applying judgment to recommend updates based on production experience.\nAssist engineering and senior technicians with troubleshooting process deviations and support the introduction of new products and processes into production.\nPerform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools.\nVerify completed assemblies meet engineering drawings, specifications, quality standards, and workmanship requirements.\nRecord production, inspection, traceability, and nonconformance information in manufacturing documentation.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, production control, and supply chain teams supporting production activities.\nSupport new product introductions, equipment setup, process improvements, inventory accuracy, and continuous production flow.\nProvide guidance to Manufacturing Technicians on assembly methods, manufacturing procedures, and production practices.\nApply manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, quality standards, and company policies throughout production.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.\nRecommend improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, manufacturing efficiency, and production performance.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nA high school diploma or GED.\n3-5 years of experience in of related experience in manufacturing, production assembly, mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, or related production operations.\nExperience in interpreting schematics, drawings, diagrams, and other visual aides for assembly. \nAbility to work with team members to ensure production roles are clear. \nAbility to regularly communicate with engineers and design staff to ensure designs are being implemented correctly. \nExperience using tools to make or repair parts and products.\nExcellent hand-eye coordination. \nAbility to differentiate between colors to identify colored electrical wires.\nAttention to detail and the maintenance of a clean workspace.\nAbility to read parts lists and make sure all are present. \nFamiliarity with undergoing routine preventive maintenance.\nExperience maintaining inventory and placing orders for more supplies as needed.\nBasic computer skills to complete quality control forms.\nFamiliarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision and follow strict safety
