The Senior Manager will partner closely with leadership, human resources, and functional leaders to translate business and workforce plans into an effective hiring strategy for Germany and the broader European talent market.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPartner with U.S. based Talent Acquisition and Human Resources leadership to align European hiring activities, processes, and operating standards with CesiumAstro’s broader talent strategy.\nBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing recruiting team to support rapid growth in Munich and broader European hiring needs.\nLead full-cycle recruiting for critical positions, including specialized engineering, technical, operations, and business roles.\nDevelop targeted sourcing strategies and talent pipelines across Europe for highly specialized professionals in aerospace, satellite communications, RF systems, electronics, embedded systems, hardware, software, and related disciplines.\nPartner with executives, hiring managers, and technical leaders to define position requirements, develop candidate profiles, establish interview strategies, and drive hiring decisions.\nEstablish and scale the recruiting infrastructure, resources, and capabilities necessary as hiring demand grows.\nBuild CesiumAstro’s employer presence within the German and European aerospace and advanced technology markets through relationships with universities, technical institutions, professional organizations, industry networks, and talent communities.\nDeliver a high-quality candidate experience that reflects CesiumAstro’s culture, mission, technical ambition, and growth trajectory.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field with a minimum of 9 years of related experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Human Resources, workforce planning, or a related discipline.\n2-5 years of leadership or management experience leading Talent Acquisition professionals, recruiting teams, or significant recruiting initiatives.\nDemonstrated experience developing and executing recruiting strategies in a high-growth or rapidly scaling organization.\nSignificant experience recruiting specialized engineering and technical talent.\nStrong understanding of the German talent market and demonstrated ability to recruit across Germany and, where appropriate, the broader European market.\nKnowledge of applicable German and European recruiting, employment, candidate data privacy, and recordkeeping requirements.\nExpertise in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategy, talent pipeline development, candidate assessment, workforce planning, and talent acquisition program management.\nAdvanced analytical judgment in interpreting recruiting metrics, pipeline health, source effectiveness, hiring forecasts, and workforce trends.\nStrong business acumen and demonstrated ability to translate organizational objectives and workforce requirements into actionable recruiting strategies.\n Ability to operate effectively in a startup environment where strategy development and hands-on execution are equally important.\nExperience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday Recruiting, iCIMS, or similar platforms.\nExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with executives, technical leaders, hiring managers, candidates, and colleagues across multiple locations and time zones.\nProfessional proficiency in English required;
