(BSPs) for customer firmware development\nArchitect and manage source code distribution strategy (versioning, access control, packaging, licensing)\nDesign intuitive workflows for customer firmware bring-up, integration, and validation\nDevelop and maintain example projects, reference designs, and integration guides\nLead documentation strategy including user guides, API references, release notes, and onboarding materials\nCollaborate with hardware, FPGA, embedded, and applications engineering teams to ensure cohesive platform delivery\nGather customer feedback and translate it into actionable product improvements\nDrive improvements in usability, tooling, and automation\nEnsure reproducibility, maintainability, and quality across releases\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field\n5+ years of experience in embedded systems or FPGA-based platforms\nStrong experience with board support packages (BSPs), embedded Linux, or RTOS environments\nProficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with firmware development workflows\nExperience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and source code release management\nStrong understanding of hardware/software interfaces in FPGA or SDR systems\nAbility to think from the customer’s perspective and design intuitive engineering workflows\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE\nDirect experience with SDR, RF systems, or space communications hardware\nProven track record designing SDKs or developer platforms\nFamiliarity with Yocto, Buildroot, or similar embedded Linux build systems\nExperience writing technical documentation for external customers\nExperience supporting external engineering
