integration, verification, and production.\nWorking cross-functionally with systems, software, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, integration and test, quality, and program teams, the Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer supports multidisciplinary engineering efforts, contributes to technical investigations, and promotes continuous improvement.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop system architectures, requirements, interfaces, technical baselines, and system specifications supporting product development.\nConduct requirements analysis, system modeling, trade studies, functional analysis, system decomposition, and systems integration activities.\nEvaluate system requirements, interface specifications, architecture documentation, engineering analyses, and technical documentation to support implementation.\nDevelop and conduct verification, validation, testing, simulation, integration, and troubleshooting activities.\nAnalyze system performance, test results, simulation data, and engineering observations to resolve technical issues.\nRecommend engineering changes, system improvements, corrective actions, and design updates that improve system performance, reliability, and operational effectiveness.\nCollaborate with systems, software, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, integration and test, quality, and program teams throughout product development.\nPrepare requirements documentation, interface control documentation, verification reports, engineering reports, engineering change documentation, and technical recommendations.\nParticipate in design reviews, technical investigations, customer support activities, system integration, and verification initiatives.\nEvaluate systems engineering methods, requirements management processes, modeling techniques, and development activities to identify improvement opportunities.\nValidate compliance with engineering standards, company procedures, customer requirements, and systems engineering best practices.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen system performance, requirements quality, technical accuracy, engineering efficiency, and operational effectiveness.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related engineering field with 5-8 years of related experience, Master's degree with 3-6 years of related experience, or PhD with 0-3 years of related experience in systems engineering, system architecture, requirements management, configuration management, systems integration, or a related discipline.\nStrong knowledge of systems engineering principles, system architecture, requirements development, systems integration, and technical baseline management.\nExperience with systems modeling, trade studies, functional analysis, engineering analysis tools, and technical documentation.\nKnowledge of requirements management, interface development, verification methodologies, configuration management, product lifecycle processes, and technical risk assessment.\nUnderstanding of systems engineering processes, engineering documentation, technical standards, model-based systems engineering, and requirements traceability.\nProficiency in multidisciplinary engineering collaboration, modeling and simulation, system verification, performance analysis, and product development.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.\nEngineering analysis and modeling tools, e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, STK, Python, or equivalent applications.\nEngineering documentation, requirements management, and collaboration tools, e.g. DOORS, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent
