program teams, the Senior Staff Power Electronics Engineer supports power electronics design, analysis, integration, and verification throughout the product development lifecycle.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nApply advanced power electronics engineering principles to develop complex power conversion architectures, voltage regulation solutions, and electrical power subsystems across multiple programs.\nAdvance power electronics design methodologies by evaluating efficiency targets, thermal management, magnetics, switching topologies, and component selection.\nLead complex engineering analyses, design reviews, and technical evaluations requiring ingenuity to resolve challenging power electronics issues.\nLead highly complex power electronics integration, laboratory testing, hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, verification, and qualification activities.\nEvaluate electrical performance, efficiency, thermal behavior, laboratory measurements, and engineering risks while developing solutions that improve product reliability.\nGuide verification planning, qualification testing, root cause investigations, engineering changes, and design validation supporting successful product delivery.\nServe as a primary technical resource for power electronics engineering across significant development efforts requiring coordination between engineering disciplines.\nProvide technical guidance through design reviews, engineering investigations, technical discussions, and complex problem resolution.\nPromote consistent engineering practices by mentoring engineers and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\nAdvance power electronics design practices, verification methodologies, engineering processes, and configuration management across development programs.\nEvaluate engineering methods, testing approaches, and development processes to identify opportunities for improvement.\nLead initiatives that enhance efficiency, reliability, manufacturability, and design quality.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, electronics engineering, or a related engineering field with 12-15 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 8-12 years of related experience, or PhD with 5-8 years of related experience in power electronics, electrical design, power conversion, hardware development, or a related engineering discipline.\nAdvanced application of power electronics engineering principles, power conversion, analog circuits, and electrical power systems.\nExtensive experience developing complex power conversion architectures, voltage regulation solutions, and electrical power subsystems.\nStrong understanding of thermal management, magnetics, power semiconductor devices, electrical testing, qualification, and verification methodologies.\nDemonstrated ability to solve highly complex power electronics engineering problems requiring ingenuity across multiple development efforts.\nExercises sound judgment while guiding technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and advancing power electronics engineering practices.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.\nCircuit simulation, power electronics design, and analysis tools, e.g. LTspice, PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, Altium Designer, or equivalent applications.\nEngineering analysis, configuration management, and collaboration tools, e.g. Windchill, Git, Jira, or equivalent
