Through established analytical methods and professional judgment, the Senior Supply Chain Operations Analyst supports supplier development, supply continuity, regulatory compliance, and operational improvements.\nWorking cross-functionally with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Engineering, Compliance, Manufacturing, Operations, and other business teams, this role supports supplier qualification, performance management, risk assessment, and process improvement initiatives that strengthen supplier reliability, operational readiness, and organizational growth.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintain and improve the enterprise Approved Supplier List (ASL), including supplier qualifications, certifications, approved capabilities, manufacturing locations, and supporting records.\nDevelop standardized supplier onboarding, qualification, approval, and requalification processes that strengthen supplier governance and data accuracy.\nCoordinate with Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Engineering, and Compliance to evaluate supplier capabilities, support approval decisions, and maintain supplier qualification requirements.\nConduct supplier assessments, site visits, and operational due diligence to evaluate manufacturing capabilities, production capacity, operational readiness, and future growth requirements.\nReview supplier certifications, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and quality standards to identify compliance gaps and potential supply chain risks.\nTrack supplier risks, assessment findings, corrective actions, and resolution activities while coordinating with functional stakeholders to address identified concerns.\nSupport implementation of a structured Grow, Sustain, and Exit supplier management framework based on supplier capabilities, performance, risk, and business requirements.\nAnalyze supplier performance involving quality, on-time delivery (OTD), responsiveness, capacity, and supply continuity to identify trends and improvement opportunities.\nPrepare supplier scorecards, performance dashboards, and recurring supplier reviews while coordinating improvement plans and supplier transitions as needed.\nAnalyze supplier, procurement, inventory, and operational data to identify performance gaps, supply constraints, material risks, and improvement opportunities.\nDesign scalable supplier governance workflows, reporting dashboards, data validation controls, and performance measures that strengthen operational visibility and consistency.\nPartner with Enterprise Systems and cross-functional stakeholders to implement improvements to supplier data management, ERP workflows, reporting processes, and supply chain operations.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field with 5-8 years of related experience, or Master's degree in a related field with 3-6 years of related experience in supplier management, supplier qualification, supply chain operations, procurement, supplier quality, compliance, supply chain analytics, or a related discipline. \nStrong knowledge of supplier management, supplier qualification, supply chain operations, procurement, and supplier performance practices.\nIn-depth understanding of Approved Supplier List (ASL) governance, supplier onboarding, due diligence, qualification requirements, and supplier lifecycle management.\nProficiency in evaluating supplier capabilities, certifications, manufacturing capacity, operational readiness, compliance requirements, and supply chain risks.\nUnderstanding of supplier performance management, scorecards, on-time delivery (OTD), quality metrics, corrective actions, and supply continuity requirements.\nExperience applying supplier governance processes, analyzing operational data, developing dashboards, and supporting improvements to supplier management workflows.\nKnowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR/EAR, DFARS, ERP systems, Power BI, SQL, and supplier compliance practices within aerospace and defense manufacturing environments.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.\nEnterprise resource planning (ERP) and supplier management applications, e.g. Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent platforms.\nData analysis, database querying, and reporting tools, including SQL and advanced Excel functionality.\nSupplier qualification, Approved Supplier List (ASL), supplier performance management, and compliance tracking applications.\nBusiness intelligence, data visualization, and reporting applications, e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
