You will collaborate with hiring managers and key stakeholders to identify, attract, and hire top talent in various technical disciplines within the aerospace industry.\nThis is a multifaceted job that requires strong technical aptitude and the ability to effectively assess the technical capabilities of candidates, along with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to understand and promote the value proposition CesiumAstro offers. Talent acquisition activities will include sourcing candidates from a variety of platforms and helping to develop high-impact recruiting strategies. You will work closely with CesiumAstro engineering and business staff to develop and execute talent acquisition projects.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nWork closely with hiring managers to understand the technical requirements of each role and develop effective recruitment strategies.\nProactively source, identify and engage top-tier technical candidates for various roles in engineering, software development, aerospace, and other relevant disciplines.\nEffectively assess the technical ability and aptitude of candidates for complex engineering roles.\nConsult with hiring managers regarding candidate backgrounds and make recommendations.\nEngage in full-cycle recruitment from screening applicants to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit to negotiating and extending offer packages.\nUtilize various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, industry conferences, and networking events, to build a strong pool of qualified candidates.\nAssist with a wide array of additional functions as necessary within a high growth startup.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university or institution.\nPrior career experiences in the aerospace industry, or similar, working in a relevant engineering discipline.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in technical recruiting within the aerospace, space, and/or defense industries.\nExperience recruiting for aerospace, electrical, mechanical, software, and other engineering positions. Strong preference for candidates with experience recruiting for electrical engineering disciplines, including Digital Hardware, Power Electronics, FPGA, RF, and Antenna Design.\nStrong networking skills and the ability to connect with passive candidates.\nExperience with full life cycle recruiting (screening candidates, consulting with hiring managers, facilitating interviews, and extending offers).\nProven ability to use recruiting techniques, such as cold calling candidates, planning and executing networking events, locating industry experts and coming up with creative ways to interact with them, and developing original focused sourcing campaigns.\nAbility to manage multiple high priority, technical requisitions at one time.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic
