manufacturing engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nEstablish manufacturing processes, production workflows, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions supporting complex products and assemblies.\nDefine manufacturing approaches by evaluating production requirements, process capability, equipment utilization, manufacturability, and production efficiency.\nLead manufacturing process development through engineering analyses, design reviews, process evaluations, and technical assessments.\nLead complex manufacturing process validation, equipment qualification, first article builds, and production readiness activities.\nEvaluate production performance, manufacturing data, process capability, and engineering risks while directing solutions that improve manufacturing performance.\nValidate manufacturing processes through qualification activities, root cause investigations, engineering changes, and corrective actions.\nServe as the manufacturing engineering lead by coordinating manufacturing, quality, supply chain, production control, and operations teams supporting product development and production.\nDevelop manufacturing documentation, work instructions, engineering reports, process flows, and manufacturing standards supporting engineering decisions.\nSupport design reviews, manufacturing reviews, engineering investigations, and new product introduction activities by providing manufacturing engineering guidance.\nEstablish manufacturing engineering best practices, process standards, production methods, and configuration management processes across programs.\nEvaluate manufacturing methodologies, production processes, and engineering practices to identify improvements.\nDrive initiatives that enhance manufacturability, quality, productivity, manufacturing efficiency, and production readiness.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, operations management, manufacturing technology, or a related field with 8-12 years of related experience, or Master's degree with 6-8 years of related experience, or PhD with 3-5 years of related experience in manufacturing, production operations, industrial engineering, machining, assembly, process improvement, or a related discipline.\nTechnical experience in manufacturing engineering, production processes, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.\nAdvanced proficiency developing manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, production workflows, and manufacturing solutions for complex products.\nComprehensive understanding of process validation, lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, quality systems, statistical process control, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience leading complex manufacturing engineering initiatives while balancing quality, manufacturability, productivity, cost, and schedule.\nExercises sound judgment in establishing manufacturing approaches, resolving complex technical issues, and providing technical leadership.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.\nManufacturing engineering, CAD, and process analysis tools, e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent applications.\nManufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP systems, engineering documentation, and collaboration tools, e.g. Epicor, SAP, Windchill, Jira, or equivalent
