DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nImplement and maintain supplier quality processes and documentation in accordance with AS9100, leveraging business systems functionalities to drive process efficiency and effectiveness.\nWork cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain to ensure supplier flow down and compliance to QMS, customer, industry, regulatory/statutory, and any applicable requirements.\nMaintain approved suppliers including supplier qualification, periodic performance review, supplier relationship management, risk assessment, and removal, if needed.\nProvide technical guidance, support, and training to suppliers to ensure alignment to CesiumAstro requirements for execution.\nCollaborate with design engineering to ensure suppliers design for manufacturability (DFM) considerations are incorporated.\nPerform nonconformance investigation and drive root cause corrective action when supplier issues occur.\nSupport disposition of nonconformances including rework, scrap, and RMA.\nMonitor and drive supplier corrective actions requests (SCARs) when escalated.\nEstablish and analyze supplier performance metrics including defect rate, nonconformances, on-time delivery, cost of rework/scrap, and supplier corrective action resolution.\nUse performance data to drive strategic partnerships and develop supplier capability with key suppliers.\nPerform supplier site audits and source inspection as needed.\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.\n8 years of supplier quality experience in aerospace and defense industries.\nExperience managing suppliers for space-grade machining, PCBs, PCBAs, integrated assemblies, and test.\nDemonstrated skills in supplier management, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills\nAbility to interpret engineering documentation, requirements, and other supplier flow downs.\nExperience with certified quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.\nExpertise in root cause analysis methodologies and corrective action implementation.\nExperience with aerospace and electronics
