Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance, the Supervisor coordinates inspection priorities, communicates quality concerns, and supports resolution of issues affecting daily workflow, production schedules, and product conformity.\nJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupervise daily incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities in accordance with established work assignments, production schedules, and quality requirements.\nAssign inspection tasks, coordinate personnel and resources, and monitor workflow, productivity, and completion of scheduled deliverables.\nReview inspection results, product acceptance records, and quality documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures.\nMonitor inspection records, nonconformance reports, and quality documentation to identify discrepancies and maintain accurate quality records.\nVerify inspection activities follow approved procedures, engineering specifications, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards.\nPrepare inspection summaries, quality reports, and status updates to communicate work-unit performance, product discrepancies, and outstanding issues.\nDirect daily activities of quality control personnel, providing work instructions, training, performance feedback, and guidance on established inspection procedures.\nCoordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance to address routine inspection issues and maintain production workflow.\nCommunicate inspection findings, quality concerns, and unresolved product issues to management and applicable personnel for review and resolution.\nIdentify recurring inspection discrepancies, workflow delays, and documentation issues affecting work-unit productivity and product acceptance.\nAdjust basic inspection workflows, work assignments, and documentation practices within established procedures to improve operational efficiency.\nSupport implementation of approved quality control improvements, standardized work practices, and corrective actions that strengthen inspection consistency.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nAssociate degree, formal occupational training, certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in quality management, engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, operations management, or a related field with at least 4 years of related experience in quality control, manufacturing inspection, product acceptance, nonconformance management, quality assurance, or a related discipline.\nDemonstrated leadership experience in an individual contributor capacity. \nPractical knowledge of quality control, manufacturing inspection, product acceptance, and quality management practices.\nUnderstanding of incoming, in-process, and final inspection procedures, nonconformance management, and quality documentation requirements.\nProficiency in reviewing inspection results, engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), measurement data, and product acceptance records.\nExperience coordinating inspection assignments, monitoring daily workflow, reviewing deliverables, and supporting work-unit productivity.\nFamiliarity with AS9100, quality management systems, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and established quality procedures.\nSound judgment when addressing routine inspection issues, prioritizing work assignments, maintaining product conformity, and escalating matters beyond assigned authority.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.\nEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, e.g. Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or equivalent applications.\nQuality management systems (QMS), e.g. ETQ Reliance, Arena QMS, MasterControl, or equivalent applications.\nInspection and reporting tools, e.g. Minitab, JMP, Power BI, or equivalent
