This role works closely with production, laboratory, and customer teams to maintain quality standards, improve manufacturing processes, and develop new products that meet customer specifications and automotive industry requirements.\n[Job Description]\nMain Job Tasks and Responsibilities\nQuality Assurance & Quality Control\n- Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.\n- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.\n- Plan and conduct inspections and testing for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished automotive carpet products.\n- Review inspection records, testing results, and certificates of analysis.\n- Perform laboratory testing for product properties such as weight, thickness, compression, and durability.\n- Conduct routine production floor inspections to identify potential quality issues.\nProduct & Process Development\n- Support development of new automotive carpet products and materials.\n- Conduct laboratory trials and material testing for new product development.\n- Work with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and product performance.\n- Evaluate raw materials and alternative materials for product improvement.\n- Participate in prototype evaluation and customer sample development.\nCustomer Quality Management\n- Investigate customer complaints and product non-conformance issues.\n- Communicate with customers regarding product performance and quality improvements.\n- Support customer testing requirements and technical discussions.\nData Analysis & Continuous Improvement\n- Collect and analyze quality and production data.\n- Identify trends and root causes of product defects.\n- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.\n- Support continuous improvement initiatives in product quality and manufacturing efficiency.\nAudit & Compliance\n- Support internal and external quality audits.\n- Ensure compliance with applicable automotive quality systems such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.\n- Maintain documentation related to quality and development activities.\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience\n- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Textile Engineering, or related field.\n- Experience in quality assurance, quality control, or product development within manufacturing.\n- Experience in automotive interior materials, carpet, felt, or nonwoven products preferred.\n- Experience with quality tools such as Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and Statistical Process Control preferred.\n- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n-
