The Planning Supervisor will provide work direction and technical assistance for routine, shutdown and project activities of the maintenance department. They will work closely with other departments to ensure safe and efficient execution of daily maintenance activities. The position has the additional responsibility of contributing to the overall cost effectiveness and efficiency of work. This position is a member of the maintenance leadership team and will be expected to lead safety meetings with CF team members and contractors while exemplifying CF safety culture and core values.Job Description:\nThis position is accountable for supervision of the CF Industries Planning Department. This position is a member of the maintenance leadership team and will be expected to lead safety meetings with CF team members and contractors while exemplifying CF safety culture and core values.\nAdvocates for safety by taking a proactive approach.\nApplies CF core values and supports safety related processes.\nLeads turnaround planning/scheduling process ensuring that all milestones and KPI’s are achieved to ensure a safe, on-time, and on-budget turnaround.\nParticipates in Job Safety Analyses and the development of safety action plans.\nAssigns and directs work activities to meet schedule requirements and operational issues.\nEnsures that all maintenance work is performed in compliance with company standards and all applicable regulatory agencies’ requirements.\nCreates a Daily/Weekly reporting on schedule compliance and any cost initiatives.\nDevelops KPI’s and report status for all maintenance/turnaround work.\nCreates development plans for each team member and track progress throughout each year and provides applicable feedback.\nAddresses and resolves personnel issues and conflicts, if needed.\nAnalyzes problems, evaluates alternatives, and takes action.\nTrains, coaches, and develops employees in order to maximize their performance\nWorks with other departments for continuous maintenance process improvement.\nEnsures that planned work orders are technically completed and work packages developed before they are scheduled in our CMMS.\nExercises direct supervision over Planners while monitoring performance to ensure that Routine, PM’s, and Emergent repair follow-ups are planned and scheduled as required, with all the necessary resources, parts and safety criteria identified.\nProvides technical and problem-solving assistance to the various sections of the maintenance organization.\nBe able to handle several projects and support activities simultaneously.
