Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations. Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans. Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\nGrade 12 qualification\nBS Degree in Accounting or Finance; or Diploma/ Degree in Internal Auditing\nProven work experience as Internal Auditor.\nAdvanced computer skills on MS Office (MS Excel Intermediate), accounting software and databases\nAbility to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports\nProven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations\nHigh attention to detail and excellent analytical skills\nSound independent judgement\nAbility to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision\nExcellent people skills and emotional intelligence\nAbility to communicate and interact effectively with staff at all organisational levels\nAbility to persuade or inspire others to gain acceptance of good ideas\nPassionate and driven work ethic\nProactive and resilient\nOrganised and excellent time management skills\nDeadline and results driven\nProfil request:\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.\nObtain, analyse, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.\nPrepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results and document process.\nAct as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.\nIdentify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.\nMaintain open communication with management.\nConduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions.\nEngage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.\nObjectively review the organization's business processes - Financial, Sales and all operational processes.\nOptimize business processes.\nMake recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes.\nEvaluate the efficiency of risk management procedures that are currently in place.\nProtect against fraud and theft of the organization's assets.\nDocuments, evaluates and tests systems and controls to determine their adequacy and effectiveness to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, accomplishment of management’s objectives, reliability and integrity of information, economic use of resources, and safeguarding of assets.\nDevelops and discusses findings;
