As Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring your team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality warehouse operations. You will play a key role in optimizing processes, driving productivity, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and stock control standards.\nProfil request:\nExperiencial and Educational requirements:\nMatric - Grade 12\nNumeracy and literacy\nBasic computer skills (advantage)\nHigher certificate in warehouse management\nSafety and ISO understanding safety critical components.\nLicenced to drive a forklift, high reach truck and or tow motor\n2-3 years’ warehouse experience (automotive warehousing to external experience would be advantageous)\nMEASURABLE OUTPUTS\nProvide support to all production team members with daily functions (as well as absence cover).\nMaintain kanban operations based on the lead times.\nCo-ordinate daily unpacking of stock to maintain just in time operations.\nLead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence.\nEnsure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards at all times.\nMonitor and improve workflow efficiency to meet performance targets.\nCo-ordination and maintain accurate stock control and inventory management (FIFO, AGE stock and ECI parts)\nIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices.\nGood command of the English language for business communication\nParticipation in kaizen and innovation activities\nCustomer focus and good customer service skills\nTeamwork, problem solving skills, time and self-management\nTECHNICAL PRE-REQUISITE\nAble to operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, high reach truck and or tow motor)\nFamiliarity with warehouse management system and participate in cycle and stock count.\nFamiliarity with SAP / scanning system to maintain stock accuracy.\nKnowledge of ER (Employee Relations) and team member support\nUnderstanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.\nKnowledge of health and safety protocols and guidelines, maintain an organized (5S) warehouse environment.\nAdministration and reporting NG stock.\nCOMPETENCY PRE-REQUISITE\nInitiative-taking and hands-on in approach to maintaining high standards.\nStrong diligence in communication and reporting\nAble to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.\nCommunicates clearly and effectively.\nEstablishes and maintains clear communication channels, ensuring timely and understandable
