You'll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to translate complex requirements into meaningful solutions that improve efficiency, enhance decision-making and unlock greater value from our data.\nWorking closely with underwriting, distribution, claims, finance, actuarial and technology teams, you'll be involved in high-profile transformation initiatives that directly influence how one of the world's leading specialist insurance businesses operates.\nKey Responsibilities\nThis is an opportunity to work at the intersection of business, data and technology, influencing how information is used across a fast-growing global insurance business.\nAs a Business Analyst within our Performance Management function, you'll be a driving force behind continuous improvement and operational excellence across the MI & Data Insights team. You'll work on a variety of strategic and business-critical initiatives, helping to modernise processes, improve reporting capabilities and support the adoption of new technologies and ways of working.\n\nSome of your responsibilities will include:\nIdentifying opportunities to improve processes, remove inefficiencies and enhance team performance.\nSupporting large-scale transformation projects, including technology migrations, automation initiatives and data modernisation programmes.\nTranslating business requirements into actionable solutions for Data and Technology teams.\nWorking closely with stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements and deliver meaningful outcomes.\nConducting data analysis and discovery work to support strategic initiatives and change programmes.\nSupporting testing, user acceptance activities and governance processes to ensure successful delivery.\nDriving business adoption through stakeholder engagement, training and continuous feedback loops.\nHelping to shape frameworks, controls and quality standards that improve consistency and confidence in reporting.\n\nAbout you\nWe're looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills.\nYou may currently be working as a Business Analyst, MI Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, BI Analyst or Analytics Consultant and be looking for a role where you can have greater visibility, influence and ownership.\n\nYou'll bring:\nExperience working within an MI, Reporting, Analytics or Data Insights function.\nA strong understanding of the London Market, Lloyd's or wider insurance industry.\nThe ability to translate business problems into data and technology solutions.\nExperience gathering requirements, improving processes and supporting change initiatives.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, insights and opportunities from complex data.\nExperience using tools such as SQL, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks or similar platforms.\nExcellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.\nA naturally curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and finding smarter ways of working.\n\nExperience within delegated authority, MGA or specialty insurance environments would be beneficial, but isn't
