Learn more at www.cfd-research.com\nCFD Research Corporation, a small, but growing, 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Team in Huntsville, AL. The MBSE Engineer will report to the Systems Engineering Group Leader and lead and collaborate with the team on the execution of model-based systems engineering. This role would work across multiple programs in varying stages of the product acquisition life-cycle. Travel to our Testing Facility in Hollywood, AL x1/week will be required.\nEssential Functions:\nUtilization of Cameo Enterprise Architect 2024 for the establishment of new systems models and maintenance/updates of existing systems models.\nAbility to navigate the systems engineering process through various lifecycle phases of different acquisition programs.\nLead the process in aligning test/analysis data and supporting documents with verification requirements within systems model.\nLead requirements management process and assist in configuration management.\nGenerate and maintain interface control diagrams within systems model.\nParticipate in requirements generation - specifically requirements decomposition and derivation as required.\nDevelop schedule alongside Systems Lead for meeting program deliverables.\nGenerate satisfy and verification matrices as necessary to generate relationships between elements.\nGenerate activity diagrams to support system behavior definition. \nAbility to adapt and support programs utilizing systems engineering as needed.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or Systems Engineering and 2-5 years of related experience\nExperience using Cameo\nExperience using Systems Modeling Language (SysML)\n o Use Cases\n o State Machines\n o Sequence Diagrams\nExperience in SysML diagramming tools\n\nCandidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain/maintain a security clearance\nDesired Qualifications:\nActive DoD Secret clearance\nKnowledge of Teamwork Cloud (TWC) \nExperience with requirements development process \nExperience with requirements verification\nExperience generating interface control documentation\nKnowledge of Software/model repository environments\nKnowledge of program SDRL/CDRL deliverables\nLocation: This role is based in the Huntsville, AL area and is 100% onsite.\nBenefits: CFD Research offers competitive salaries and excellent employee benefits, including an employer matching 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
