Learn more at www.cfd-research.com\nCFD Research is seeking a Program Support Analyst (PMO) to support the financial management and execution of large, complex defense programs. This position will work closely with Program Managers, technical leads, contracts, and finance personnel to provide accurate and timely analysis of program financial performance.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong analytical and Excel skills, an understanding of government contracting and program finance, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable information for program leadership.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform financial analysis and reporting for large defense programs, including analysis of actual costs, budgets, forecasts, and program performance.\nDevelop and maintain program financial forecasts, including Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Completion (EAC).\nMonitor program burn rates, FTE utilization, funding, and expenditures against plan.\nAnalyze budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variances, identify cost ends, and communicate potential impacts to program leadership.\nDevelop and maintain financial trackers, dashboards, and other reporting tools used to monitor program performance.\nPrepare financial data, charts, and analysis for Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and other internal or customer-facing reviews.\nWork with Program Managers and technical leads to develop and update labor and cost forecasts across multiple tasks\nAnalyze staffing trends to ensure actual execution aligns with program plans.\nSupport analysis of revenue, cost, profit/margin, and program financial performance.\nPerform baseline development, forecasting exercises, funding modifications, and other program financial planning activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nFamiliarity with government contract types, including FFP, Cost Plus, T&M, and OTA agreements.\nExperience with program financial management, EAC/ETC forecasting, earned value concepts, or project controls.\nStrong financial and quantitative analysis skills.\nDegree in accounting or STEM related field is preferred\nMinimum of 4 years of directly related experience is required; 5-8 years experience is strongly preferred\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.\nAbility to develop and maintain detailed financial forecasts and reporting models.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or trends within financial data.\nAbility to communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced program environment.\nU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the program.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with financial/ERP systems such as Unanet or similar government contracting systems.\nExperience with Power BI or other data visualization/reporting tools.\nLocation: This role is based in the Huntsville, ALarea, and is 100% onsite.\nBenefits: CFD Research offers competitive salaries and excellent employee benefits, including an employer matching 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
